Established in 1972 and located in Albany, NY, the New York State Nurses Association Pension Plan and Benefits Fund are separate, multiemployer plans providing health insurance and retirement benefits for RNs and other medical professionals throughout New York State represented under collective bargaining by NYSNA.

The plans are governed by two Boards of Trustees, which have an equal number of representatives from NYSNA and the management of participating facilities. Here at the Plan and Fund office, we have approximately 50 employees on staff dedicated to providing the highest level of service exclusively to our participants.

Contacting Sharron in 2023

Due to ongoing COVID-19 circumstances at many of our participating facilities, Communications Representative Sharron Carlson is not routinely visiting facilities in person for meetings and orientations. Notification of these virtual events will be communicated to you via Sharron's Calendar (see link below), e-mail, and texts, so please contact the Plan & Fund if your personal contact information has recently changed. To reach Sharron, please call (877) RN BENEFITS [762-3633] Ext. 2240 Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
