Weight Watchers and Jenny Craig

Get discounts at Weight Watchers and Jenny Craig through Health Net. For Weight Watchers:

• Attend 12 weeks of Weight Watchers meetings by using vouchers worth $105.12
• Receive a Weight Watchers At-Home kit for $124.90
• Save on a yearly subscription to Weight Watchers Online
• Sign up for the 3-month online Weight Watchers plan at a $10 discount.

Customized Weight and Nourishment Needs

Balance® and Nourish® are two online programs from Health Net designed to give participants tailor-made helps reaching weight and healthy eating goals.

Fitness Center Discount Program

Health Net offers discounted memberships to an extensive network of fitness centers in the quad-state area. The program is administered by WellQuest, Inc. 

Here’s how the Fitness Center Discount Program works:

• Call WellQuest toll-free at (800) 595-8448 or access the Health Net provider directory to select a fitness center in the network. In the online directory, choose "Find physicians/providers near home or work." Input your address, select the distance you are willing to travel, and choose the plan in which you are interested. Under "Select a type of provider," choose "Facility." Under "Specialty," select "Health and Fitness Centers," followed by "Search."
• Pay a one-time low registration fee for yourself and each additional family member.
• Receive a discount of up to 30 percent off the monthly fee at a network fitness center of your choice.
• Use any other participating facility up to four times a month (16 times per year, per center).

Decision Power^SM Preventive Health and Disease Management    

Decision Power is Health Net’s new, complementary health coaching program available for Benefits Fund participants and their covered dependents. It provides participants with care support information to help them make evidence-based health care decisions regarding treatment options, upcoming procedures, and other significant medical events.

Decision Power is staffed by nurses, dietitians, and respiratory therapists who are available day and night, seven days a week by calling (800) 893-5597.

AlternaCare Coverage

The Health Net AlternaCare program offers quality, affordable, holistic health care options for NYSNA Benefits Fund participants. Through the program, chiropractic and acupuncture treatments are covered, and in-network massage therapy services are discounted. 

Here’s how AlternaCare works:

• Chiropractic — All medically necessary visits to any in-network Landmark chiropractor will cost a $10 copayment per visit. There’s no limit on the number of visits. Out-of-network visits will cost you 20 percent of the usual, customary, and reasonable charges and applicable deductible. Prior authorization may be required.
• Acupuncture — See an in-network Landmark acupuncturist and pay $20 per visit. You're responsible for 20 percent of the UCR and any remaining deductible for out-of-network care. Prior authorization may be required.
• Massage Therapy — Receive a 25 percent discount off any in-network Landmark massage therapist’s posted fees. There are no limits on the number of visits, and the discount applies to all services provided by participating Landmark therapists.
